This last project is just about to get me tired!!! We have started tiling our patio. I knew it was really big - but when you are working one tile at a time - this is redicuous. I've never been so tired or sore in my entire life. I really wanted a ledge to set up the wood burning fireplace Betty Sue & Jimmy gave us - so where you see the brick that is how tall the ledge is - we will fill it w/concrete then brick the top of it. I knew saving all that brick would come in handy some day!
So now all we lack is grouting the tile,, which will be a snap, and filling in the ledge and bricking the top of it. And, PLEASE don't ask Bobby how much all this cost - he's getting too old to stress about things like that!!! But doesn't it look great! All I need now is for Molly and Jack to come help!!!!

The tile looks AWESOME! And, it makes me smile soo much to imagine MAX at Furrs brightening the old people's day. He is such a sweetie!
Ok, fireplace in your backyard means all of the holidays are definitely staying there!! Can't wait to see the finished project!
