no time to write

I haven't had time to write - but I did have time to post a couple video's. One is Fireman Max, and the other one is Ft. Worth Zoo. I gave Jack and Ian one camera and Ava and Molly one camera - so every pic you see will be one that they took themselves! Mostly the boys were spying of the girls and the girls were spying on the boys. Enjoy.

Will my house ever sell?

My house is so pretty! So clean! SOOOO many extras.... Why do I have such junky neighbors. I am beginning to think they will cost me the sell of my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting ready (fixin to) to go kick some junkie people ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

Okay Nicole this ones for you!

We have been working so hard getting our house ready to sell....How does one small family get so much JUNK? We rented a 10x24 and it's already full!!!! How does that happen??? As we clean and empty (for the most part) we shut the door - hoping it will stay as we left it. Needless to say we've moved 25 times in our married life, so what's one more? Well, I'm 60 now - that's what's the matter!!!! This will be our last move. I know when we finally do get our house sold, and a new one bought - it will be worth it....being closer to the kids will be worth it - no more 1 hr and 45 min drives each way. PLUS - this house is way to small!!! If any of you retired people want to "down size" LISTEN to me - DON'T!!!! You will always need the room!!! Our neighbor wants our dog Mira - can you believe that???? Well, am looking fwd to looking at some houses tomorrow, and seeing Max. So, nothing else happening - so have a great day!

Back to the Real World!!!

I am so excited - Jack and Molly are coming to tomorrow and we are excited...so much that we are going to introduce the "Root Beer Float" - so I'm really excited about that. I bought some "real" paint brushes - so IF I see an easel - I'm getting it!!! I really enjoyed the time in the mountains, and enjoyed all the much needed naps - but I am really glad to get to be with the kids and grand kids. They make me so happy - they are so full of life and are so active and happy - their little minds are just sponges and the cutest things come out of their little mouths!!! Now to get the house ready ---- I'm working on that too - but just mentally right now - physical soon!!! So if i have time I will keep you posted on cute "Little Kid Sayings" - my favorite thing!
Love you all - Nannie

Pecos New Mexico - Bobby's Fav's Vacation

Well, how do I start without bragging. Do keep in mind that this is Bobby's all time favorite vacation, and I have so say that I really enjoy it too - who wouldn't. We have a camper that has all the things you need for comfort - so we climb 9,000 ft into the mountains to park by the Pecos River. You have birds, chipmunks, fish, rain every evening, plenty of wood for a camp fire, and most of all peace......sweet peace......I was able to take a nap every afternoon, read two books, draw a little, work a few puzzles, eat only when hungry - not much cooking - Trader Joe's too close to worry about what to cook. It was really a great time, we met a lot of people who had the same interests we do - so as each of us would leave, we would get every one's address and emails. It was sad to leave such dear people, but to be perfectly honest, we did miss our kids and grand kids, it seems when we are away from them, they are all we can think about: wonder what they are up to, If all is going well for them. Then the grand kids is an entire different story - oh what I would have given to had them all with us - I missed their little hugs and kisses soooo badly. Chuck was so kind to look after our place and water - but Marcie the cat - did not particular care for Chuck - so she didn't show up for a couple of weeks, so we just thought the coyotes just got her - then last night she showed up - who knows where she was getting her food. But, we were really glad to see her come home - she's a lot friendlier now - strange. well you know how they say a pic is worth a 1000 words - so here are 149 pics. Enjoy. and all I can say is "Home Sweet Home"

After working for 3 days on the camper - we are ready!!!! Got a new hitch welded on the back to haul the extra potty thing - and our camping chairs!!!! You walk inside and it smells GREAT! And.....we left 4 little surprises for the new mice!!!! A nice peanut butter treat - please mice - just nibble!!!!!! ha ha ha - tomorrow we are going to help Jodi pack - she literally hates to pack - and since she's not pg this time - we are going to make sure she does double time!!!! I wished we were taking the grand kids with us....I can hardly wait until they go on vacations with us! I wished all the kids were coming - but it won't dampen anything - beware Pecos fish - Papa is on his way!!!! well, talk to you later - kiss's for the grand kids - even you Emerson!!!

Getting Ready for Camping!

Well, we went to check out the camper and get it ready for our 3 week mountain trip. Last minute cleaning, etc. Well, what a surprise we found - MICE!!!! Yikes......we literally had to empty out the entire camper - take all bedding, towels, everything to a laundry mat and wash, disinfect w/bleach everything - $40 later most of it came out great - some had to go to the garbage. Then the dishwasher has been running all day on pot scrubber...After a trip to wally world I bought the sacks to protect everything - This will NEVER happen again!!! We are so excited, this is going to be a busy month - Jodi and Mike close on their house, Nicole releases the name of ducette, Max starts potty training, and we go to a "Stinnett Reunion". We will stop and see Granny for a few minutes. Well, since I'm still not through with the camper stuff, I'll sign off for today, pledging to write more!!!

Smartness

Just an update to let everyone know I still blog. This past weekend was busy and yet so fulfilling - how proud I am of my two children w/MA's. Jodi has worked so hard and I'm so proud of her. So proud of Mike, that he is my son by marriage! There is no greater joy for a mama than to see the love a man has for her daughter in his eyes. Mike is such a wonderful, kind, thoughtful and intelligent person, thank you Mike for all you have done for Jodi, I could die today and know she and the kids would be perfectly well taken care of. Not to mention how great Jack and Molly are! Way to go McCormack family.

I am equally as proud of Cody....when Cody got his master degree, he was just as worn out and beat down as Jodi. He was so sick of school, yet he kept on and persevered until he was done with the job. I'm not sure if it was because he is so stubborn....or just didn't want to quit! I do know the integrity that Cody does possesses, and I am proud of that. I am so glad Cody found Nicole, she "really" completes him. Their mutual love for each other will set a great example for Maddox and kids to follow.

And for the record - I do posses five more kids too, I am equally as proud of the other five too!! Betty Sue and I are so lucky to have such GREAT kids! God has truly blessed us - coming from just the two of us - (pause here to think of all the time it was just me and Betty Sue against the world) to where we are now - all the love in our family overcomes everything!!!!

In conclusion - I come away from this weekend - one proud mama!!!! Thanks for all you have given me ! "My Children ARE the BEST!"

40 Years

40 years - what do I say: "one day at a time"! I thought you might enjoy a recap - then I thought that might take 40 years - ha ha.... even 40 things I love about bobby - tooooo long - then I thought of a couple of more things - and didn't even like them....so I'm am going to recap our 40 yrs together in 1 or 2 words: met , dated, and married!

Okay ...... the most of our lives revolved around kids, school s and jobs: It is a GREAT LIFE: I attribute our 40 years for mutual love and trust for each other and respect for each other!

Bobby is my prince charming for saving me from a terrible home life - that I tried getting out of many times before he came along - IF a stranger (Bessie Mae Griffen had not of invited me to come live w/her - I prob wouldn't be here today - I cannot stress how much I feel that every child should be raised in a happy, calm, loving environment and have parents that are responsible and willing to put the children first!!!!

Okay I just thought of one more thing - didn't Jesus go without food and water for 40 days and 40 nights - well - let's just say 40 is a long time!!!!

Always love and be positive, patient and caring toward your spouse - and.....always be truthful, IF your spouse hurts your feelings or doesn't help enough around the house - TELL HIM - do everything out of love - and always be equal!!! Love everyone as God loves us!!!!!! and...when you are mad - don't hide it - share it with him - (NOW - this is one of my mistakes - don't fight in front of your kids - we did this, and I'm sorry - I really thought they needed to know what a marriage was all about - but now I have second thoughts and don't think they need to know everything....so sorry Jodi and Cody - for fighting in front of you....

Lastly - sometimes people aren't meant to be together - so don't be afraid of divorce - no one should have to live w/someone who doesn't put them first in everything....just let me say....If I didn't feel like Bobby loved me or put me first before himself - we prob wouldn't be married today - but he does and I love him for it! He is a great man and father and provider - he is my
"Prince Charming" and I love him and hope we have another 40 yrs together!!!!

PS - the watch and tennis bracket made my day!!!! I DO love you!!!! And....can hardly wait for the trip to San Antonio and the Gaylord Texan!!!! I really do have a great life - thank you God for making me, and giving me a heart with the ability to love!

Spring - Oh How I LOVE Spring!!!

I can barely stand to stay in the house in the spring......things I have already done this spring:
Planted okra (should have waited - too cold); 3 tomatoes plants (too cold - I should have waited); prob 50 bulbs (that haven't surfaced yet) cross your fingers; 2 jalapeno plants; 5 more tomato plants; black eyed peas; squash; radishes; 5 pkg of all different flower seed in one spot (none have surfaced yet)? Iris's from my sister (they are doing well); moonlight flower (doing well); transplanted 2 lantanas (doing well) ; 2 roses (already have blooms) (thanks fam); transplanted two tree roses (cross your fingers on these - they look really sick); 12 hanging baskets (shouldn't have gotten the clearance ones - they did not survive the 3 days babysitting); but the hanging baskets still looking good! Okay so much for the dirty finger nails - on the other 1/2 of my life the grand kids are totally awesome!!!! Jack picked the cutest name for duceette (Fancy) - I asked him why that name and he said she would prob be really fancy!! - is that cute or what......Molly can hardly wait for ducette to get here - she loves babies so much - she always asks me how Max and the baby in Aunt Nicol es belly are doing! And...little Max....he is such a blessing - he surprises me at how athletic he is - he is kicking the soccer ball while running and tries so hard to stop it by placing his foot on top of the ball - I'm sure I couldn't even do that!!!
He is crazy for buses and firetruck and planes!!! He can see and hear so well that it is really freeeky!!!! Oh well so much for today!!! Love you all!

It's about Time.....Nannie

So after reading Sid's blog - I realize I haven't blogged in a really long time too.....Where to start...Let's do Easter!!! I thought that this was the best year ever!!! (w/exception of Sid & Matt not being here) I thought everything went really smooth - games, food and cousins, friends, family!!!! I was so much fun to have "Little" Myka here - I really could have set and held her all day long. And.....didn't Sean do great with Lisa!! Lisa is a sweetheart and will fit in with the family so well. Good Job Sean! The only thing is that I wished it could last for 3 or 4 days!!! Maybe sometime in the future.....we'll do a family reunion!!! AND WHAT would I have done IF Betty Sue had not been here!!! She is my strength....I only wish we lived closer...

Next.....Jodi......I am so proud of her - to graduate w/distintions! Where does that girl get her brains? Seriously - must be from her mother. Imagine - two kids under 5, teaching classes, and grad w/distention's. That's our girl!!!

Next....my Chicken coop.....I am so excited I just can't stand it - I can hardly wait to get all the Easter stuff put away and get to working on the coop!!! I have such great ideals for it!!! I'll take pic's. I can hardly wait until Jack, Molly and Max can help me feed and gather eggs!!! Oh lucky am I to be able to give this opportunity!!!!

Next....our weekend in OK.....It really was a great time, IF my house had of been cleaner - I could have stayed forever.....Betty Sue and Jimmy have it looking so beautiful!!! For some reason their love of their homes, makes you love their home too!!! I could sit on her back porch forever and listen to the chickens, guineas, peacocks, dogs, cows everything!!!! Maybe we can have July 4Th there!!!! We are making plans so everyone stay tuned and leave your calendars blank!!!!

Well, so much for the past - I'll update later about Max's firetruck experience!!! you will love it!!!! I love you all.....Nannie

Oklahoma is Okay!

Well, this past weekend we left the state and finally went to see my sister, Betty Sue and Jimmy, and enjoyed the country life. It was cold and windy, but that did not stop us from enjoying the country, flowers, chickens, guineas', dogs, peacocks, roosters, and of course the company!!! Lucky for us Sean didn't have much to do this weekend, so we picked him up from the train. Bobby & Jimmy were able to go fishing while BS and I played, so on Sat night we had the greatest fish fry ever!!!! I do mean ever!!!! Thanks Jimmy and Betty Sue for such a great weekend. Here are a few pic of their GREAT place in Oklahoma!

Getting it together for Easter!!!

Easter is getting close - and I'm really excited about our annual Easter Hunt. I've figured out a couple of new games - but you know we will still have some of the old favorites like Table Tennis, mural on fence, b b shoot out, ping pong......and the kids egg hunt and the adult egg hunt!!!! Sid, can't you and Matt fly down!!!! it won't be the same without you!!! We will also miss JJ - prob Nic will get the "good" eggs this year, unless Terry beats her to them!!!! My menu is going to be brisket, scalloped potatoes, baked beans. That's what I'm fixing, everyone is welcome to bring what they think their kids will eat and all extra's are welcome... I will get more details out later!!! There will be a few changes, but everything will mostly be the same. I really think Easter is one of my favorite get togethers, mostly because it's not like Christmas or Thanksgiving - where everyone has to go to someone else's house - It's our "cousin's time" for each other!!! If you would like to bring goodies to hide, please do! You know we can count of BS to bring the live toys!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!! Our party will be the sat. before Easter! Looking fwd to seeing all of you! I added a video - but I barely took pic's - I will do better this year - and IF you have any pics of last years - please send them to me! Can hardly wait to see you!

A day at the Dr's!

Okay I had a 6 mos check up today - which had turned out to be my yearly checkup - yes, I hate Dr.'s apt. I went in at 9:30 and left at 11:45~ is that ridiculous? But.....on the up side - no weight gain in a year - really - that's awesome. Got my blood taken by a vampire - I never even felt the needle go in or come out!!! And....got talked to about making sure I take calcium chews, and a daily vitamins. And....had to promise to start walking daily! Got my Zoloft doubled so I won't have my feeling hurt every time I think someone is mad or upset!! Now I will be a zombie - my way of dealing with life!!!!! So in general - I'm healthy and ready to get busy with exercise, healthy eating and a happy feeling inside (even if is medical)! When I step back and and look at this health - I feel so fortunate to have insurance - and am able to have good doctors care and medication! I am truly blessed with a great family and a great dog!!!! So life goes on.............
Love, Nana

Home from Austin

Okay now that I'm home, I will say I enjoyed the trip, and.....yes....I did skip out on two sessions!! One night I thought it was Thurs, and skipped out to watch survivor - well.... it was Fri - so I missed it and missed the games too! We did miss the kids, and all their activities. I am anxious to get back and give the kids a hug. I can hardly wait until Jack and Max get old enough to enjoy the games with their dads and papa. While Jodi, Nicole, Molly and I go shopping! Well, I'll keep this short - but I am glad to be home....and my next trip is to OK!! II really miss my sister!!!1

It's that time of year again, in AUSTIN, TX

So we will be heading for the boys state basketball tournament in Austin, TX. We have gone to the tournament for years, but since we retired we haven't been as much. So.....today after 3 years of staying away from school activities, we decided to head on down to Austin and check out the states finest basketball players. I really hope that the chants and dunks have only gotten better. I always pick my team on their chants and show off skills. I know that "old skool" coaches hate this - but I really like it. It's my favorite part of the entire tournament.
I also can't help but remember tournaments past.....like the year that Mike and Bobby went on ahead of Jodi and me. In fact Mike was planning on asking Bobby for Jodi's hand in marriage.....isn't that sweet.....I can only imagine how Mike felt.....I'm surprised he's even been to any games since.....but he has, and we are so glad he did.
I also remember when Bobby and Cody would go to the games and Jodi and I would go shopping...how much fun did we have. And...what deals we found.
I also remember the year Nicole came and discovered DSW. I'm sure Nicole loved shoes way before that, but she did pick up a couple of pairs - IF I remember right.
So, if you don't hear from us - we'll be in Austin - enjoying games, food and pleasant memories!

Ramblings from a 60 yr old, Whom Quite Often Doubts Herself.

Can you say what you want on a blog??? Is it the same as face book? Is everyone going to read it? Should our thoughts and actions be always be out there for everyone to critique? What IF you were just naive and only wanted good for the people around us, what if we rejoiced when they rejoiced, what if we were sad when they were sad, what if we really believed love covered all things - is that even possible? What if we never kept anything to ourselves, because others are included deep inside of our own souls, what if the others we love are our souls- so we don't love without having loved ones around us, we weren't sad without the ones we love being sad with us, what if we don't laugh without the people we love laughing with us, what if, Just what if we aren't our self if we aren't apart of the souls we love. What if the people we love are our souls? So, why don't we share everything, accept people for who and how they are, love people for whom they are, and rejoice when they rejoice, be sad when they are sad, love when they love, cry when they cry, let our lives be together and within the lives of the people we love. Why do we pretend, refrain, and separate our thoughts and lives from each other? I'm nearly 60, and it just came to me - I love so many people - but, what is love - does it really cover everything - or not. I've been just thinking, since I was raised in a "children's home", do I really even know what love is - or do I think love is what I want it to be - Is love simple or is love complicated? I do know what love is, and what love isn't.....I above all others do know what love is and what love isn't. Love is all the things I want it to be! I have found love in places most people take for granted - I wish is for everyone to find the love I have.

Nana's found FaceBook!

Okay I may be 60, but the computer is getting so simple.....and reaching out to lost friends is so easy!! I have found some of my high school friends, and it makes me feel good that some of the people I went to school with are as curious as I am. It is so much fun to know what everyone is doing in the simplest of daily chores. 100 years ago, it would have been farming, milking cows, feeding chickens, etc. Now, there are so many activities, that we can't even keep up with what all they are. So many interest groups to join, and isn't it fun.

Okay now on the family side! I am so excited that Dale and Kasie had their baby!!! I feel for Kasie for such a long delivery and hope and pray she and Dale are getting some rest, which we all know is impossible at a hospital.

I miss Cody, Nicole and baby Max so much, but...I am so glad they were able to fly to FA and witness Jessica's wedding, and visit with all the family. I know how much everyone is enjoying them all, and esp Maddox! and how much they are enjoying time with Nicole's family!

I am excited that tomorrow we get to pick up Jack and Molly from school. It is a blast to see them when they come running yelling Nana, Papa!! So we are definitely looking fwd to spending a couple of days with those sweet, sweet babies!!!

I miss BS too, so I guess we are going to have to break down and head on over to OK!! But...this time I will take my own rubber boots to scoop poop! Ha, Ha can hardly wait to see you!

A Day at the Beach

Bobby and I wear lucky enough to have Jack & Molly for a couple days! Today was a pretty day so we decided to go have a picnic at the beach. It turned out to be more fun that I ever thought it would be. There was only 1 other family there, so we practically had the beach to ourselves. So Jack wanted to make a heart moat - then all the ducks and seagulls came and ate out of our hands. Jack and Molly ran their little legs off bringing water to the moat. We built the moat really high, and the kids loved it. We tried not to get our clothes wet - but that just didn't happen!

Earlier in the day Jack & Molly weren't playing so good, so I put them in time-out in opposite chairs and made them look at each other without talking - it was so funny - they got tickled and laughing, so I ended the time out - and about 6 min later they asked to be put back into time out! I know I'm a meanie!!
Another cute saying from Jack: (forgive me Jodi & Mike) I locked the door to the bathroom to change clothes, and low and behold here come Jack & Molly saying: "Let us in, you know we are super spies - we are boobies spies!) I laughed so hard. When you watch this video - Jack & Molly made up the comments!

A Day at the Zoo

Today was a beautiful day, so when Jodi called and said she was going to meet Cathie and kids at the zoo - I jumped on the idea!!! Needless to say - it was all I thought it would be. Kids are so entertaining - I laughed the entire day. I love the way Cathie and Jodi do the zoo - they just let the kids go at their own pace and let them go where ever they want. Of course they have all been members since they were born - so they prob know the zoo better than the people that work there. Anyway a pic is worth a 1000 words so enjoy this slide! Love, Nana

Another Snake!

So today we were trying to clean up the back yard - so I was cutting up all the tree limbs we had trimmed off a couple of months ago,,,,,and low and behold as I'm picking up trunks to cut up - there is another baby snake!!! Similar to the other 3, but different! This time, remembering Molly's dream - I had a totally different attitude - I did not scream - panic or run. I gently looked at it to see IF it was poison (I can't believe that I didn't scream or run). I walked into the house and got Bobby and calmly asked him to come and MOVE this snake. I told him, "I don't want to kill it, because it's God's creation." Well, Bobby had a different attitude - he said, "I hate snakes and don't want any in our yard." So he chopped off his head and threw him over the fence! I really believe I would rather have trees and an undeveloped area behind us, but I really don't like so many snakes - If I saw 4 how many are there really in my yard? I don't want to think about it. So, Molly, I tried - but I am secretly glad that snake is gone! I mean REALLY gone!

Max's weekend with Nannie & Papa

We were so excited to get Max for the weekend. Of course being an only child, we were a little late leaving Dallas, but it was nice getting to eat lunch with Nicole and Cody. Max slept on the ride home and woke up when we got to Benbrook just in time to get an ice cream cone from McDonald's. It did not take him long to figure out how to eat a soft cone - he love it and when he got to the cone he was a pro at biting off the cone!!! (sorry Cody & Nic - grandparents rights) When we got to Granbury, we went outside to get some fresh air and Max went straight to the pirate ship - he must have been thinking about walking the plank since his last trip - he stepped right up to it and walked it like he was a pro! Then he went to the theatre where Molly had set up a kitchen, and explored that. Later on we fingered painted and also brush painted. Max is a true artist - he likes getting his hands into his work!!!! He slept on his little cot and only climbed onto Nana a few times - it is so great to wake up and see him open his eyes and smile at you! that memory will be forever etched in my heart. Cody & Nic held off as long as possible, but Max was glad to see them - my only regret about the weekend was that Jack & Molly weren't here to play with him. So anyway - hope you had as great a weekend as Nana and Papa had, Max. We love you -

A Molly story about SNAKES!

Jodi asked Molly how she slept last night. Molly's reply, "I slept great, God wrapped his arms around me and we talked." What did you talk about, Molly? "We talked about Nana's snakes and God said in a really loud voice: "Nana should not have killed those snakes. They were my creations!" Well.....what's a comeback for that? Yes, Nana shouldn't have killed the snakes - I'm sorry God and Molly. But, please God keep them away from my back porch!!!!!

snakes, snakes, snakes!!!

So we have been outside most of the day. Jack & Molly had to help cut down a tree, and I was cleaning around the patio. While I was taking out some old bricks to transplants some lantana - all of a sudden a orange snake pocks his head out at me - Molly & Jack are inside doing something - so I start screaming bloody murder and finally Jack & Molly go get papa (on the computer as usual) I didn't want the snake getting away so I tried to kill it with the hole in my hand, as soon as I felt the snake - I screamed and screamed - I couldn't do it - all I did was make him mad!!!!!!!!!!! Well, finally the old man comes out and kills it, promising me it wasn't a copperhead. My arms went limp and my head is pounding - I sit down to rest, call my sister for some sympathy and get back to work, finishing the flowerbed I started......low and behold........what........Am i crazy - two more snakes - yes two - lying side by side - this time my screams brought more help - bobby came and killed them, and finished removing the bricks.
I forgot to mention that Jack and Molly's favorite game is now screaming: SNAKE, SNAKE!!

Sunday with Jack and Molly

Mike brought the kids to Granbury in time for church - they love our "children's church" and the kids in our children's church love them. Jack led the prayer in the "children's church" and did a great job. The kids are so smart, the teacher asked them what a miracle was and Molly was the only one who knew - (if Jack did, he didn't raise his hand) she said, "It's like magic, when you help or make someone well when no one else can, and the people are really happy." That's coming from a 3 year old. Jack and Molly sat on a row by themselves. Mike and I looked over at Molly just in time to see her reach over and give Jack a kiss on his cheek, he immediately did what a 5 yr old boy would do - put her in a headlock. That did not stop Miss Molly, because as soon as he let go she reached over and planted one on he face. I asked Mike where she ever saw anyone kiss like that, and she said it was a "Hollywood Kiss"! As soon as she gets older she can kiss on the mouth, but for now she has to kiss on the cheek!!! The teacher was asking for animals that would go on Noah's ark, and Jackson suggested a hippo, well, after several minutes of discussions the hippo noise was imitated, and class went on. I am including a few pics of what we do at Nannie's when it's too cold to go outside. They changed the game and are calling it bowling and either Molly or Jack are on the red chaise and are the bowling pen, while the other one is the ball and try to knock over the pin!!! Isn't that cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please note that in Jack's jump his fist is stuck out front as if he were superman!!! Oh the good times at nannies! (ps Molly invented this game!)

Our weekly date with Mr. Max

This was a great week for babysitting Max. We picked him up at daycare, and he was on the mountain playing "king of the mountain", and....yes, Max was king!! When he saw Nannie, he came stepping off the mountain like a "big kid". Each step was taken with one foot and no hanging on to anything. After I picked him up - it was bye to everyone in his class and a couple got hand blown kisses. We took his Steve McQueen race car (which the trunk is in the seat) and went on a treasure hunt. He gathered sticks, acorns, and leaves. Of course everything was a chock hazard, but to Max and Nana they were mostly treasures. When you see Max drinking from the blue cup - he grabbed my coffee cup - needless to say - he loves coffee w/cream. Sorry, Cody & Nicole - he did however say "hmmmmmmmmmmmm" after he downed it! I have included a few pics. When you double click on the pics - you can see his face so much better.
