Okay, okay, okay - it's been a long time since my last post.....I just haven't had anything to say - I've been reading other posts and commenting, and just this moment I have something to say. It's about Halloween! It's been mentioned to me by several people that Halloween may not be the holiday to celebrate..... so that's the reason for this post....how I feel about Halloween. Halloween is not even a holiday to me - it's just a time to get together in the fall and have a party, tell scary stories, give out candy and celebrate being a kid. To me it's a kid's day - all rules are out....and it's a time for us to play with the kids and pig out on food, and laugh and just be with family. I won't go into how I feel about ghosts, witches, or the dead - let's just say that the Bible says not to talk to the dead or practice witch craft. So... with that said, I really like Halloween, just because it's a time to get together and catch up on family and maybe scare a couple of people. So I hope you all had a great time as I did, and just consider Halloween a time to get together and enjoy each other, I think this past Halloween was the greatest and hope next year will be better!

i completely agree. Halloween was fabulous...thanks so much for having the party...Maddox loved it!
I LOVE halloween.I definitely agree on your feeling of it all. I had the best time seeing how cute all of my trick or treaters were in their costumes! I can't wait to do Halloween in Granburry! Maybe next year!!!!
Remember in Post when you and I dressed up like witches, green/purple faces and all, WILD hair, it was a blast! I guess we like it 'cause daddy didn't ever let us go trick or treating, he said it was door to door begging, I think I remember Jane passing out candy though. NONE for us, but for the other kids!
I've been waiting and waiting for a post about the Halloween party. Gracias!
You know, you were the first person to introduce me to a haunted house as a kid (in Paradise) and I still remember it (fondly!)
Love you!

Thanks for all the hard work, Nana. I've always enjoyed Halloween, too. It seems especially fun now that I have wonderful children in the family to celebrate with!
