As I was thinking about Fathers today - I was thinking what a poor example I have had in the past, and what a GREAT Father my hubby became. I'm so proud that at least my children had a Dad that they could talk to, get advice from, and have as an example. So I made a "Cody List"
of the top ten reasons I am proud of Bobby! These are in no particular order!
1. His ability to look at situations from all angles.
2. He picked a career where he could be with his family and take an active part in their "growing up". (If growing up ever happens)
3. He is a great role model.
4. His is willing to pick up and move at a moments notice to help and contribute to our "grandchildrens" walk along the path of life.
5. Is is so generous to agree to bury for the grand kids things that I think will put a smile on their beautiful faces.
6. His love for out kids, their spouses, grand kids can not be surpassed (except by God)
7. He will neglect his self to sure we can afford gas, gifts and small week-to-week things.
8. He will listen patiently to our kids and their spouses whether he agrees with them or not.
9. He has been a great example of what a father should be - even to his wife - what I could have given for a Dad like him!
10. And last but no more important than any of the above.....He TRULY loves his family - and shows it everyday. I am so proud I chose him as a partner in life.

It has taken me about 44 years of telling Debbie that I am perfect, it is so sad that she just now believes it! Actually, Debbie is wanting something else buy. Debbie has been the ultimate mother to our two beautiful children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. She actually has assets where I have shortcomings. I love her dearly.

Nah, mom is right. Pops is pretty good. He's cutting edge for the dad's of his generation... even today's generation. He's a great role model. Happy father's day dad.
Happy Father's Day, Dad. Nana is right. We (Cody and I) were so blessed to have you two as examples for us. I love you, Dad!
